As a family-centered childcare agency, we constantly work to create inclusivity and bonds between children, embracing all their abilities, and extending the support they need within the dayhome and community-based programs. I love what I do!
I have been working closely with families and children of all abilities for over 20 years. I enjoy having that connection with Educators, families, and children. My golden rule is to care for and treat people with respect and love and be humble in what you do and bring to others.
I thrive from learning from other cultures' traditions and getting to know what people need. I have worked in wonderful places abroad and here in Calgary in the education field which gave me the opportunity to grow and excel.
I have a Master’s in Education and a Bach. Sciences of Education with a Level 3 Child Development Supervisor and trained in different areas of special needs children. Being bilingual (Spanish - English) gave me another opportunity to understand other cultures and people in different ways.

I have been in the Dayhome field for 12 years, working side-by-side with children and families.
All the experiences that I have been going through makes me connect with the families and Dayhome Educators in a sincere and understanding way. I have gained the empathy that I am sure will make us feel like a big family.
I am an Early Learning Childcare Educator with many hours of working and studying in a Dayhome setting.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and build a great community of Dayhome Educators raising the citizens that our world needs.

Asma Basit.

Asma Basit is an early childcare educator and has been teaching for the past 10+ years in places across the world such as Pakistan, UAE, and now Canada. She has an early learning & childcare diploma (ELCC Level-3) from Bow Valley College, Calgary, and a graduate degree in Science from Pakistan. Asma was born and raised in Pakistan and later lived in the UAE for a decade before immigrating to Canada. She had the privilege of working with people from diverse cultures and is very passionate about the significance of early learning in building a society. Being a mother of two children, she loves to spend time with her family hiking, cycling, and kayaking in the summer. Her favorite activities are cooking, listening to music, watching movies, and reading books on spirituality, history, biographies, etc.
My name is Shahbano Rahat Saeed. I am a trained AMI Montessori guide with more than eighteen years of work experience in a pure Montessori environment in different capacities. I have also earned my ECED diploma from Bow Valley College in 2019 and have a level 3 (CDS)
I volunteered in a couple of Preschools and worked as a Montessori directress at a well-known Montessori in NW from September 2017 till March 2020. Currently, I am employed as a lead Montessori teacher in a well-reputed childcare program as well as pursuing ‘ Montessori Teachers- Trainer’ certification from a reputable Montessori Training College. My aim is to assist and train fresh Montessori/ELCC teachers in their professional course of development. I am looking forward to progressing in my professional endeavors and planning to pursue a mentor/leadership role.
